O most glorious Saint Andrew Avellino, whom God has made our protector against strokes and sudden death, seeing as you yourself did die of that sudden condition, we earnestly beg you to preserve us from any such health issues that may strike us suddenly and unexpectedly. Pray for us that we may never die unprepared. Obtain for us time to receive the Sacraments and so to die in the grace of God. In that hour of our death assist us by your powerful intercession that we may sleep in the peace of Christ and join you in praising God in the eternal joys of heaven. Amen.
